The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for completing payments, controlling expenses by receiving payments, as well as processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. This individual manages all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage billing inbox.
Review, reconcile and approve all AP invoices for the region.
Monitor all vendor payment agreements to find discounts that can be used to reduce invoice amounts.
Responsible for paying all sales tax on appropriate invoices and making a note of each tax payment made.
Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments.
Reconcile payable reports each month to confirm that all amounts paid were accurate.
Reviewing Jobs upon completion in ERP system for payroll and material abnormalities.
Ensuring W-9’s are accurate and up to date for all vendors.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Compile documents for audits
Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in carrying out responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
