DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
Attending to a large-scale cultivation facility.
The Fertigation Technician works in conjunction with the Fertigation Manager to oversee and implement all irrigation and fertigation activities across the entire grow
Check and balance EC & pH of stock tanks according to company standard operations procedures (SOPs)
Maintain and ensure Irrigation and Fertigation equipment is in good working order
Work closely with the grow team to ensure the irrigation/fertigation plan is properly implemented and maintained
Responsible for mixing fertilizer concentrates.
Running the fertigation schedule.
Track feedings per DOH regulations.
Assist and work collectively and respectfully with other cultivation and facilities team members.
Clean fertigation equipment and provide mechanical maintenance of the fertigation equipment.
Follow all safety regulations set by supervisors.
Ensure an overall positive, safe, clean and organized environment.
Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS *
Two years of experience in building and/or mechanical equipment maintenance and repair.
Basic understanding of GMPs and HACCP
Detail oriented and well organized.
Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as active listening skills.
Practices diligence with a sense of urgency.
Fundamental knowledge of production and equipment process operations.
Ability to count accurately, do simple math
Ability to work in various temperatures and environments.
Sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Throughout extended periods must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills. Must be able to use a 12' extension ladder.
Must have open availability.
Environmental requirements and exposure:
Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables
DESIRABLE
Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture.
Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience.
EDUCATION *
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
