Job Description

Terrapin is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our growing company. As a Boulder, Colo.-based national cannabis company, Terrapin is a pioneer in the emerging industry. Terrapin is a cultivator, processor and provider of high-quality medical and recreational cannabis products. Over 10 years of operations, Terrapin has grown into a multi-state company with nearly 200 employees. As we have expanded nationally, our need for a Flower Packager has grown significantly.

The delivery driver’s role is to provide reliable, safe, and secure transportation of goods from multiple sources to the designated Terrapin Care Station locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Capable of Delivering Manifested Product: Responsible for transporting manifested cannabis product from affiliated grow facilities to the approved packaging or extraction facilities. Also responsible for the delivery of the processed cannabis product from the packaging facility to the designated Terrapin Care Station location while adhering to the route specified on the product manifest.
Loading and Unloading Manifested Product: Responsible for following all company protocols regarding loading and unloading of manifested product. In signing the approved manifest, the delivery driver is confirming that all product contained on the manifest is the same product (description and quantity/weight) that is contained in the delivery vehicle. All necessary precautions and safeguards must be observed while loading and unloading any manifested product.
Strict Schedule Adherence: the driver must be able to provide assurance of a timely delivery: therefore, all transfers must adhere to a strict schedule. Every trip should be as efficiently executed as possible to ensure that all recipients receive requested product as soon as possible.
Communication Skills: the driver communicates with all levels of employees. They must be able to respond to questions regarding the known itinerary both verbally and written.
Take Direction: Driers are relied on heavily within the company. They must be willing to take direction and execute any tasks as requested.
Computer Literacy: Should be able to use a windows operating system including the G-Suite products, the POS system, and inventory software. Should have a knowledge of web-based menus and application.
Compliance Knowledge: Must be aware of all laws surrounding packaging and labeling compliance and medical or retail business operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to obtain or current MED badge
Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.
Ability to perform other duties as needed.
Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving, highly regulated environment with deadlines.
A clean driving history/record
