Fertigation Technician

• Mix all fertilizer salts correctly
• Validate fertilizer concentrate strength
• Keep fertilizer concentrate tanks full
• Maintain mixing logs
• Maintain cleanliness at all times in the fertigation center
• Receive and inventory all grow materials
• Work with the cultivation team on down time for any assistance they need in the garden

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the US.
• Proper employment documentation.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends, if requested

• Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.
• Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience.

• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills.
• Ability to use a 12’ extension ladder.

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.

Desirable

• Experience and knowledge in horticulture and/or agriculture preferred.

• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills. Must be able to use a 12’ extension ladder.
• State issued pesticide applicator’s license

Education

• Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
• Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or plant science field is desirable.
