Kennel Assistant

Job Description:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and cleaning
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kennel area
- Grooming and bathing of animals as needed
- Exercise and socialize animals to ensure their physical and mental well-being

Preferred Skills:

- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy animals and standing for long periods of time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay range based on experience.  Starting pay $12.00

Expected hours: 18 – 24 per week

M-F shifts available and must be available for weekend shifts

Some Holidays - alternated with other team members, Holiday pay applies.

Shift:

Morning shift - Biggest need is morning shift from  6:45 am to 2:30 pm

Night shift - 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week.
