Facilities Manager - Cannabis Industry Location is in Lompoc, CA

Job description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to communicate well with vendors, building officials, code administration and other regulatory agencies.

• Experience with managing direct reports and team building.

• Ability to coordinate and monitor department staff, other company divisions and outside services.

• Ability to read and interpret plans.

• Ability to develop scope of work, schedules and budgets in a timely manner.

• Understanding of HVAC equipment, process cooling equipment and irrigation equipment.

• Willing to be put on a 24/7 call list for fire alarm and security monitoring.

• Ability to commute regularly to Lompoc, CA

• Displays a high-level of enthusiasm for work, professional conduct, ethics, works well in a team environment and presents themselves professionally

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Experience with commercial production electrical and plumbing systems.

• Excellent time management and prioritization skills

• Must be able to pass a Live Scan to be able to work on the farms.

• Forklift experience is necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Agriculture / commercial nursery experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• Maintenance: 4 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Salary

$60000 - $70000 USD per year

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, climbing, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crawling, seeing and repetitive motions.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work on feet. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance) AND must be able to do so safely with extreme care and caution.
