WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

- Maintain department standards for productivity, reliability, and accuracy by assisting warehouse manager in distributing workload to team members.
- Train, coach and provide day-to-day direction to team members as needed.
- Enforce safety standards and maintains a high degree of visibility and access to team members on warehouse floor throughout the shift.
- Supervise all shipping, receiving, and packing tasks performed by warehouse team, following the established inventory control process.
- Process inbound delivery trucks and ensure proper receiving, tracking, and documenting of all shipment arrivals.
- Operate merchandise management tools (forklift, electric pallet jack and pump jack) and schedules equipment maintenance as required.
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs and perform administrative tasks, as necessary.
- Assist warehouse manager with development, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures; ensures all established policies and procedures are followed by warehouse team.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING

Required

- Age 21 or over
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Government-Issued Photo ID
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License
- 2 years working in a warehouse or distribution environment or related experience
- Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills and time management abilities
- Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making timely decisions
- Proficiency in windows-based software and internet navigation

Preferred

- Forklift Operation Certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- The ability to lift items up to 50lbs
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Occasionally positions self to retrieve product or materials in the warehouse
