Postproduction Lead
The Postproduction Lead is responsible for maintaining daily operations and providing guidance to other employees within the trim room. This role is also responsible for overseeing quality control of the cannabis product entering the trim room and reporting to the Postproduction Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Sets the standard and provides leadership and direction to the team to ensure that production protocols and established processes/best practices are followed
- Arrives before the other team members in order to ensure our team is set up for a smooth and efficient workday.
- Completes all necessary documentation on a daily basis including but not limited to recording and processing data for postproduction activities.
- Manages employee activity as well as breaks.
- Trains and helps oversee new hires and current employees on standard operating procedures and proper techniques for trimming/packaging.
- Provides feedback to management regarding employee performance.
- Maintains and regularly check the climate of the trim room.
- Resets production spaces at the end of each workday.
- Maintains a positive work atmosphere by setting an example and communicating to team members, managers, clients, co-workers, and employees in a respectful and professional manner.
- Works closely with Postproduction Manager and Leaders to determine priorities and processes for production crews by reporting and reviewing trim room progress.
- Performs additional related tasks as requested by the company within the scope of the position

- Understanding of basic math
- Understanding of biological and physical sciences
- Efficient with Windows and Office Suite
- Understanding of cannabis life cycles, production cycles, as well as basic knowledge of cannabis pathogens and pests
Requirements:
- Cannabis industry experience
- High school diploma
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
