POSITION SUMMARY: The Inventory Specialist ensures all finished good inventory, internally manufactured goods are properly received, documented, tracked and managed. The inventory control specialist and their team will complete frequent audit to confirm the accuracy of the processes in place and will have full accountability for all products flowing through their department.
Ensure inventory accuracy is properly maintained, tracked and reported between the various software platforms
Work closely with other departments including Compliance and Case packaging to maintain proper workflow and communication
Routinely conduct cycle counts and properly document all inventory movement
Supervise Inbound Receiving specialist and other fulfilment employees as needed
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all products that are ready to sell are correctly labeled and confirm that they have passed all current State testing requirements
Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
Uphold a highly organized department with all product and supplies properly stored and maintained to support effective inventory and fulfillment processes.
Oversee and evaluate stock rotation procedures using FIFO
Implement and conduct cycle count inventory procedures to ensure accuracy and retain all related records
Manage, create, and improve processes and procedures to support effective inventory management and order fulfillment.
Maintain physical location record-keeping for all inventory
Adhere to all AZDHS requirements related to the segregation and location finish good product
Manage bin locations
Adhere to all AZDHS requirements related to the storage and movement of finish-good product within the facility
Train warehouse staff in inventory tracking and inventory audit and cycle count processes
Serve as subject matter expert on warehouse management software relating to all inventory aspects of ERP system and actively work to improve functionality of ERP processes related to area of ownership.
Develop and maintain SOPs related to finished good inventory tracking and management
Create an efficient space utilization plan
Properly notify management of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability.
Implement and assist with new software systems and related technology
Complete inbound receiving logs and retain for one year
Ensure expired product or other quarantined product does not reach customers
Abide by all Company operating polices
Maintain KPI’s and provide other types of data reporting
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
At least 2 years Inventory control experience
Must have experience working with Microsoft Excel
Must have experience working with ERP, WMS, and/or other inventory tracking systems, LeafLogix, Leaflink and Business Central experience preferred
