Retail Associate (Part-Time)

Green Leaf Medicals, a Columbia Care company is looking for a part-time Retail Associate for Fridays and Saturdays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-organized at all times.
• Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.
• Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
• Checking customers' identification documents to verify that they are of legal age.
• Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Ensure the safety and satisfaction of both the patients and employees
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and strains in the store, as well as industry-wide product knowledge
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the current medical cannabis law, industry trends, and regulations, and communicate changes to staff and patients
• Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks
• Responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate staff, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical duties
• Maintains accurate records of patient’s identification and registration documents, manage scheduling patient traffic flow, answer phones and respond to patient and caregiver inquiries
