The Infused Products Lead will be responsible for overseeing and producing the company’s Infused Products line while participating in all Infused Products duties such as prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store products.
In this role you will...
• Prep, mix, cook, produce, pour, deposit, pull, and store all facility consumables and products; assist with training technicians in tasks.
• Ensure inputs are properly blended for pressing, pour blend into hopper by hand, run blends through press, fill bins with pressed product.
• Monitor the temperature and humidity of the press room and adjust as necessary.
• Ensure all documents are filled out correctly, and that ingredients, WIP, and R&D projects are labeled correctly.
• Accurately prepare ingredients, workstations, and equipment for production.
• Correctly infuse by thoroughly scraping, turning, lifting and rotating for the appropriate duration.
• Assist with maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Make sure the equipment is properly calibrated and working correctly.
• Ensure proper storage of all facility consumables and products; Store food products in compliance with safety standards.
• Perform visual quality inspections on products with regularity; Focus on waste minimization and reduction, as possible.
• Accurately read, record, and communicate all kitchen data including product counts, product measurements, and product weights.
• Ensure that the production department is clean and sanitary every day. Equipment and tools are cleaned and sanitized. Floors are cleaned, scraped and mopped daily. All surfaces are cleaned and sanitized the start and end of every day.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work environment
• Maintain compliance with state regulations, enforce company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
• Insure all traceability paperwork is completed accurately and in full
Skills and experience you have...
• 1+ years of experience in an Infused Products department at a large scale cannabis operation(s) preferred.
• High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Previous experience in food production or kitchen environment strongly desired.
• Familiarity with kitchen production procedures.
• Basic weights and measurement skills, ability to operate kitchen equipment.
• Ability to complete works in a timely manner and continually strive to increase productivity.
• Energetic team player, willing to take direction and learn new skills.
• Ability to work with a team as well as independently.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a background check (Agent ID permit required by state of MO)
