Assistant Store Manager

Our Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team. As part of the leadership team, they are responsible for the growth and success of the retail store. Most time will be spent on the development and training of staff, driving sales, ensuring customers receive high quality service, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, upholding Company standards and operating all aspects of the dispensary under the direction of the Head of Retail.

Role Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff.
• Create and implement staff incentive programs to increase level of service, promote up-selling, and enhance staff morale.
• Ensure all technology platforms are updated with our most current information (specials, events, marketing materials).
• Oversee all returns, exchanges, and employee purchases.
• Ensure that Inventory Manager is notified of all returns so this may be communicated to the vendor and product replaced or credit given.
• Complete checkouts for budtenders and delivery drivers ensuring all cash handling procedures are being followed.
• Ensure all opening and closing duties are completed and the store is completely secured before departing at night or opening in the morning.
• Meet with management team to ensure proper follow-up on all action items and address any personnel issues.
• Report all relevant operational information to Director of Retail.
• Handle customer issues and concerns in a professional and effective manner
• Support scheduling and coordinate staff onboarding with the Operations Lead.
• Responsible for POS updates and maintenance in conjunction with inventory personnel
• Ensure that the Company brand is always properly represented
• Assist with shift lead reviews, 30, 60, 90-day reviews for new employees as well as annual reviews for all line level staf
• Implement Pincanna Rewards programs to increase customer acquisition.
• Note: The primary position responsibilities outlined above are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional responsibilities may be required depending on the volume and complexity of the store.

Experience

• -Familiar with METRC
• -5+ Years of retail management experience
• - Cannabis industry experience

Physical Requirements

• - Lifting up to 25 Pounds
• - Standing for 8+ hours
