Essential Function:


We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure DevOps Administrator to play a key role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, combined with expertise in managing and optimizing IT systems, networks, and services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain automated processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, testing, and deployment, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize infrastructure components for maximum efficiency and uptime.
  • Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce security best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Respond to infrastructure-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
  • Capacity Planning and Scalability: Monitor resource utilization trends, forecast capacity requirements, and design scalable solutions to support business growth and evolving needs using LogicMonitor.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster collaboration and skill development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and QA, to align infrastructure requirements with business objectives and deliver seamless solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Embrace Infrastructure as Code principles to manage infrastructure configurations and deployments programmatically.
  • Cloud Services Management: Manage cloud-based infrastructure services, such as Azure, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization to leverage the full potential of cloud environments.

Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure administration, with a focus on DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are desirable.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the environment is moderate.
