Sonoran Roots is looking for multiple motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Brand Ambassadors (Contractors), working alongside our marketing and sales departments.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Each Brand Ambassador is responsible for educating the constituents of the Arizona Cannabis community about the company and its brands. The Sonoran Roots Brand Ambassador's role is to build awareness of upcoming marketing promotions, generate interest in our products, and create a positive image for the brand within the cannabis community and among potential consumers. Our Brand Ambassadors must be authentic, enthusiastic, and passionate advocate for the Cannabis cause and movement.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -BRAND AMBASSADORS:

Ambassadors must understand, abide by, and enforce AZ Department of Health Services ("AZDHS") rules, regulations, and compliance standards.

Members must be outgoing, energetic, and passionate about the company and its brands.

All team members are expected to be versed in what products we carry, where they can be found, and what deals (Ponderosa deals) are available.

We will participate in 5 - 10 events a month, and ambassadors are expected to bring new opportunities to their team leads.

Ambassadors are trusted to handle and distribute cannabis products in public places. All liability regarding the use and possession of marijuana is assumed by the individual.

Ambassadors must safely and compliantly move cannabis products.

Ambassadors must arrive on time for any event they are scheduled to attend(15-30 minutes before the event for set up).

Ambassadors should assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment both at company facilities and events.

Ambassadors are in charge of taking inventory of all products before entering or starting an event.

Ambassadors must complete event checklists with efficiency and precision.

Manage inventory of any "unused" product and ensure proper storage for the next event or opportunity.

Report back to the marketing team after each event with successes and opportunities for improvement.

Keep up with a fast-paced and high-energy environment. We work hard, but we have fun while doing it!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Job Type: Starting Contract, 10 hours per week with increasing hours dependent on events

Pay Rate: $18-20 per hour

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Must be 21+ years old.

Ability to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.

Ability to stay focused on tasks and meet goals.

Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.

Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will, and do what you say you are going to do.

Quick learner, and willing to be coachable and flexible with work tasks.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.

A criminal background check will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.

Reliable transportation.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred):

Multiple years experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).

The desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.

High school diploma or GED.

Cannabis-related education including programs and certifications.

Schedule: 4-hour shift

Ability to commute: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification: (FA) Facility Agent Card (Necessary to Start Work). Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel: 50% (Preferred)
