Manufacturing Technician

Our client, a renowned leader in the field of biotechnology, is revolutionizing the use of living cells to create groundbreaking biologic medicines. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is eager to contribute their expertise and drive their mission forward.

Pay: $18-$21/hr

Type of Job: Contract to Hire

Location: New Albany, OH

Responsibilities:

· Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs).

· Reporting any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety.

· Ensuring quality & compliance through a Right First-Time mentality.

· Feeding components into equipment and performing sanitation activities.

· Documenting appropriate paperwork, understanding Overall Equipment Effectiveness.

· Use of computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch recording.

· Partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities.

· Ensuring components and products are available for continuous operation.

Requirements:

Associate degree OR High school diploma / GED
1 year of Manufacturing or Operations experience
Drug substance manufacturing experience.
Basic understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system
Ability to document process tasks in electronic batch records.
