Dispensary Inventory Control Specialist

Inventory Control Lead position NOW open at our Flagship location right in the heart of River North! Our Inventory Control Leads are the pinnacle of inventory organization, communication, compliance and diligence! They will ensure deliveries are handled from start to finish with attention to detail and ability to get product on the floor quickly and accurately. They will focus on everyday organization of the Sales floor product as well as the vault, keeping in compliance with daily counts and monthly vault audits. They will be able to communicate directly with management to ensure product is handled without variance and is consistently kept organized. ICLs will also gear focus towards the organization of the menu, ensuring it is always accurately reflecting current inventory.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

• Contribute to and assist in developing, implementing, and executing standard operational procedures/policies, operational rules, compliance, regulatory requirements / amendments 

• Lead by example while advancing the Green Rose mission, strategy, growth and executing all tactical and strategic objectives 

• Intake deliveries from start to finish while remaining in compliance, staying organized and getting product to the floor swiftly and accurately

• Familiar with Cannabis POS systems like Biotrack, Leaftrade, Sweed, Leaflogix, Metrc.

• Manage/Oversee/lead execution in all quality of product, product inventory and daily audits  

• Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are being adhered to 

• Daily Menu Audits to ensure menu is always accurate and reflects the correct information, pricing and pictures for the easiest customer accessibility 

• Assist with variances while also helping protect assets and prevent variances from occurring through diligence, organization techniques and communication

• Lead staff to exceed all goals and objectives 

• Monthly Audits

• Stay ahead of all product development and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products in store as well as industry – not just their own individual store, but all the stores within our company – willingness to cross-train, cross-travel is expected as part of this role. 

• Other duties as assigned 

Position Qualifications: 

• 2+ years in Cannabis Inventory or Management role required 

• 2+ years of cannabis retail experience required 

• Consistent and constant communication on all levels 

• Accountability at all levels and for others 

• Balanced decision making 

• Intuitive critical thinking 

• Practical and pro-active actions/thinking 

• Attention to detail, organized lead on all workspaces 

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to pass a background check 

• Must be 21 years of age 

• Must possess a valid license or state ID 

• Must remain compliant with all city and state regulations and requirements for working in the industry 

• Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods of time 

• Willingness to be flexible – Travel is at times necessary; therefore, travel is required for retail management
